(1) Holding related positions in the parent or department on a daily basis; or
(2) With a continuous service of three years in the grade made on a daily basis after appointment in pay band posts-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay of Rs. 4600/-or equivalent within the parent or departmental system, or
(3) with 8 years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(4) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience.

Degree in Agricultural Business Management or Vegetable Sciences or Horticulture or Agro-Forestry or Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Experience: One year experience in Agricultural Extension work in the Central or State Government or Union Territories or Autonomous Body or Public Sector Undertaking
Desirable: Two years of experience in the formulation and conduct of the Extension Training Programme.
Eligibility of Applicants: Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or semi-Government autonomous and statutory organizations or Agricultural Universities or recognized research institutions or Councils:
(1) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(2) With three years of continuous service in the grade made on a daily basis in pay band-2 posts after appointment, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay of Rs. 4600/-or equivalent within the parent or departmental system, or
(3) with 8 years' regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay band-2, Rs. 9300-34800/- plus grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and
(4) Possessing the educational qualifications and experience.
Pay Scale: A pay band of Rs.15600-39100/-after being chosen for the vacant post.
Age Limit: The overall age limit for deputation appointments (including short term contracts) as of 01.09.2020 shall not exceed 56 years.
